01What this policy covers

This policy lists every cookie, browser-storage entry and comparable technology used on irida-tech.ai, across all five language versions, and explains which of them require your consent under the EU ePrivacy rules and the GDPR.

We checked the live website with automated browser inspection: every cookie, every localStorage and sessionStorage entry and every third-party connection is accounted for below.

02Strictly necessary technologies (no consent required)

These are required to deliver and secure the service you explicitly requested. They cannot be switched off.

• irida-consent (browser storage, this website) — remembers your privacy choice for 6 months so we do not ask on every page.
• irida-lang (browser storage, this website) — remembers which language version you are viewing. Contains only a language code such as “fr”.
• irida-chat-session (browser storage, this website) — a random code created only if you open the website assistant, so your conversation stays together. Nothing is stored if you never open the assistant.
• Cloudflare Turnstile (security service by Cloudflare on our contact and careers forms) — verifies that a human, not a bot, is submitting a form. In our configuration it sets no cookies.
• __emg_vid and __emg_sid (cookies set by our hosting provider, Emergent) — technical identifiers used by the hosting infrastructure to deliver and secure the website; they are set by the platform, not by our own code. Durations: about 1 year and about 30 minutes respectively.

03Optional functional content (consent required)

Google Maps (Google LLC, USA) — the interactive office map on the Contact page. It is blocked until you allow it: either by enabling “Functional content” in the Cookie Settings or by clicking “Load Map” on the map placeholder itself.

When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and device information and may set its own cookies; this involves a data transfer to the United States under Google's own terms and privacy policy.

04Analytics, advertising and session recording: none

IRIDA does not operate analytics, advertising, heatmaps or session-recording technologies on this website.

Our hosting platform (Emergent) ships with PostHog analytics software. We have removed that software's code from this website entirely, so it never loads, never sets identifiers and never sends events. As an additional precaution, our own code blocks it and deletes any stored identifiers on every visit, and session recording is disabled completely — form entries, job applications and chat messages can never be recorded.

Should we ever introduce analytics in the future, it will remain disabled until you give consent through the Cookie Settings.

05No other third-party technologies

All fonts (Cabinet Grotesk, Satoshi) and all photographs are self-hosted from our own domain — your browser contacts no font or image CDN.

We use no tracking pixels, no social-media plugins and no advertising networks. The LinkedIn, YouTube and Facebook icons in the footer are plain links that contact those services only if you choose to open them.

06How to change or withdraw your consent

Use the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of every page, or the button below, to change or withdraw your choice at any time. Your choice is stored for 6 months on your device; after that we ask again.

Withdrawing consent stops any future loading of optional content immediately; content already loaded in the current page is cleared by reloading it.
